i wish had the will power to be anorexic
This is the stupidest fucking thing I have ever read.
You wish you had the will power to lose your hair, be unable to walk without someone holding you, have yellow feet and white hands, be incapable of sleeping on your back because your hip bones dig into the mattress through your back, be unable to sleep of your front because they dig into the mattress through your front also, cry whenever you see food because not only are you terrified of it, but you just want to be able to eat it so desperately and can’t, grow lanugo all over your back, face and arms, never go out, have no friends, lie to everyone you love, spend 90% of your time in hospital… you wish for all of this? Really?
Maybe you wish you had the will power to be skinny. Maybe you wish you had the will power to lose weight. But until people learn that weightloss is merely a side-effect of a crippling mental illness, there is no hope for the world or those struggling to recover.
